- A Czech National of Syrian origin, Mr. Kudsi began learning violin from his father at the age of seven. He then joined the National Conservatory of Aleppo, Syria to become one of its most promising violinists; thus he was nominated for a full scholarship to continue his music studies at the Prague Conservatory, for which he gave up his studies in Architectural Engineering. - Mr. Kudsi studied the violin at the Prague Conservatory from 1970 to 1974 and then at the Performing Arts Academy of Music in Prague (AMU) where he finished his masters of Art degree with distinction in 1979. - Since graduation, he performed violin recitals, played as a soloist in many International orchestras in a number of European and Arab capitals; he also played in Radio France culture and Radio Prague. - In Damascus, he formed the Syrian Piano Trio and Syrian Chamber Orchestra, and produced and played many musical programs for Syrian Radio and Television. - He pursued violin teaching career in the Czech Republic, France, Syria and finally in the UAE - Dubai. Since moving to the UAE in 1986, Mr. Kudsi has been contributing towards the development of the musical culture through teaching, practical training through his Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra (EYSO) established in 1993, and through organizing cultural and charitable concerts and classical music festivals. - In 2004, he initiated and directed the Emirates International Peace Music Festival (for Young Virtuosos), and established the Emirates Peace Music Competition. - In 2009, he established The National Conservatory in Dubai, which is accredited and certified by the Premier Music College in Prague. - In 2015 he is the assistant director of the Premier Music College of Prague and the head of its Associated Board for the established International Music Study Exam. - Mr. Kudsi received several local and international awards and certificates of appreciation such as the "Gratis Agit Award Laureates" from the Foreign Ministry of the Czech Republic in appreciation of supporting Charity and Peace through Classical music. He was also Awarded TECOM Chairman's award by Dubai Media City in recognition of his valuable contribution the music culture in the UAE.
