SEMINAR FOR CONDUCTORS
Introduction:
From September 30 to October 3, 2026, Radio Television Moldova will host an exceptional event for conductors: an intensive international seminar combining in-depth preparation, high-level orchestral work, and professional exposure.
Organized by Radio Television Moldova with the prestigious 70-member National Radio-Television Orchestra, this seminar offers a complete immersion in the great symphonic repertoire. The program features three major works: the Adagietto from Mahler’s Symphony No. 5, Ibert’s Flute Concerto, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5—a demanding artistic journey exploring expressive subtlety, dialogue with soloists, and symphonic power.
Participants will benefit from eight hours of online preparation beforehand, followed by 16 hours of studio work with the orchestra, culminating in a concert broadcast live on radio and television. The event will be professionally filmed (4 cameras) and studio-quality audio recorded (8 microphones), providing each conductor with top-tier promotional material. Each participant will receive a professional recording for their career development.
The seminar is led by Professor Boris Perrenoud, a renowned expert in orchestral conducting, and features Professor James Strauss on flute as guest soloist. The project is published by Universal Music, ensuring international reach.
Open to a maximum of eight conductors, this exclusive program fosters personalized work, intensive artistic immersion, and a comprehensive professional experience.
A unique opportunity for conductors wishing to deepen their mastery, enrich their stage experience, and enhance their international visibility.
