Introduction
From September 30 to October 3, 2026, Radio Television Moldova will host an exceptional event for conductors: an intensive international seminar combining in-depth preparation, high-level orchestral work, and professional exposure.
Organized in collaboration with the prestigious 70-member National Radio-Television Orchestra, this seminar offers a complete immersion in the great symphonic repertoire. The program features three major works: the Adagietto from Symphony No. 5 by Gustav Mahler, the Flute Concerto by Jacques Ibert, and Symphony No. 5 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky—a demanding artistic journey exploring expressive subtlety, dialogue with a soloist, and symphonic power.
Participants will benefit from 12 hours of online preparation beforehand, followed by 16 hours of studio work with the orchestra, culminating in a concert broadcast live on radio and television.
The event will be professionally filmed with four cameras and recorded with eight studio microphones, providing each conductor with high-quality promotional material. Every participant will receive a professional video and audio recording for their personal promotion and career development.
The seminar is led by Boris Perrenoud, professor of orchestral conducting, and features James Strauss as guest flute soloist.
Limited to a maximum of eight conductors, this exclusive program fosters personalized coaching, intensive artistic immersion, and a comprehensive professional experience.
A unique opportunity for conductors wishing to deepen their mastery, expand their orchestral experience, and strengthen their international presence.
