Discipline - Trombone

Art. 1 - Age Groups

The competition is opened to musicians of any nationality for the age groupes, under 17 and 17-36.

Art. 2 - Application

The applicants must apply in our website:

They have to submit a video link with a music program of their choice for a minimal duration of 10 minutes and maximal duration of 15 minutes.

Art. 3 - Audition

Online (travel not required)
The jury will select the best participants in each discipline and their video will be published on our website. The public can vote for their favorite participant.
The selected participants will have to pay the participation fee of 95.- Euro.

Art. 4 - Semi-Final

Online (travel not required)
Maximum 3 participants in each discipline will be invited for the semi-final. The semi-final is taking place online. The participants are invited to perform a music program of their choice of a minimum duration of 10 minutes for a maximum duration of 15 minutes, solo or with piano accompaniment or answer questions from the jury regarding the score for the disciplines conducting and composition.    

Art. 5 - Final

Maximum 3 participants will be invited will perform the requested program as soloists with the orchestra. 
The final will take place on 24th July 2022 at the Plau de Congresso in Castellon (Spain).
One rehearsal with the orchestra will take place on 23rd July 2022.
All the costs for traveling, accommodation and food will be covered for the finalists.

Art. 6 - Prizewinners

After the final, the jury will deliberate and announce the prizewinners.

Art. 7 - Requested Program Trombone

One movement of a concerto with orchestra at the choice of the participant.
